Nagel Rice Obtains a $1,500,000 Recovery in Medical Malpractice Case Wrongful Death Action

In this action, Nagel Rice attorneys Bruce Nagel, Robert Solomon and Andrew O'Connor contended that the defendant anesthesiologist failed to adequately monitor the blood sugar of a 68-year old patient before doing elective laparoscopic surgery. As a result, the patient suffered cardiac arrest falling into a coma, which lasted four years before the patient's death. The decedent left a husband and two adult children. The case settled prior to trial for $1,500,000.
